Medical Unit
Within the States of Guernsey we offer integrated health and social care to the people of Guernsey and Alderney.
Our Medical Unit comprises of three wards; two medical wards which provide care for people with a variety of medical conditions and a rehabilitation ward which provides both neuro and general rehabilitation, all use a multidisciplinary approach to care.
We are seeking Nurses, who are committed to providing high-quality care in a modern, purpose built facility. We encourage education and personal development and are seeking staff who share this ethos. We are committed to supporting our staff with their NMC revalidation and provide payment for the cost of NMC subscriptions.
We offer a full relocation package which includes interview and relocation travel, this is in addition to our competitive pay, annual bonus and our additional bonus scheme of £3,000, payable after two and four years. Furthermore we offer subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the Island alone and a 5 year licence for those wishing to bring a partner or family.

Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
