Grade: AA2 - £27,509 - £31,349 or EGI - £33,248 - £35,932 per annum

Sessional Supervisors will assist the Community Service Team to supervise offenders carrying out a Community Service Sentence to ensure that they report to work on time and that tasks are completed to an acceptable standard.
Due to the Community Service Scheme operating at weekends, the post holder will mostly be working on Saturdays and Sundays but occasionally there may be work required on a week day. The post holder will be expected to work two sessions per month which will total approximately 12 hours.
The post holder will be required to attend Quarterly Team Meetings which incorporate training and supervision.

- Occupational Health Clearance
- Satisfactory, Enhanced, Disclosure and Barring Service Check with Barred Listing Check. Convictions likely to be considered relevant to this post include crimes involving, but not limited to, theft violence, dishonesty, fraud, vulnerable individuals and children
- Confirmation of required qualifications / registrations
- Possession of a valid Employment Permit
Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
