Key Responsibilities:

  • To serve customers in a courteous and efficient manner
  • To ensure that date rotation
  • To assist with moves within the store
  • To merchandise the store
  • Handle customer refunds/ queries and complaints efficiently
  • Provide the customer with an up to date knowledge of products and services
  • Ensure ticket checks and legal dept checks are carried out
  • Ensure stock accuracy of depts. through counts and communication to your line manager
  • Remove ‘waste’ and damaged stock from the sales floor and complete required paperwork
  • Use commercial documentation to access information relating to your department
  • Maintain high standards of sales floor and till point hygiene
  • Flexible working to move into the ISB and café
  • Undertake training for use of machinery in ISB, Café ovens and Coffee Machines
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Watch out for theft, fraudulent methods of payment and deceitful purchases
  • Assist with the training and development of new staff
  • As necessary, work out of role in order to meet customer needs

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Good general education
  • Background in Customer Service
  • Good Customer Service skills
  • Ability to use till
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to replenish stock and date rotate
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers in English language
