The States of Guernsey are looking for a Recreation Assistant to join their team at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre.
They will assist the Duty Manager and other staff with the day to day running of Beau Sejour Leisure Centre through the preparation, control and supervision of activities/events within it, providing an excellent level of customer care at all times, and also act as a Lifeguard and assist in the supervision of the swimming pool.
They will report to the Duty Manager or Senior Recreation Assistant and is responsible to the Operations and Events Manager. They will have supervisory responsibilities for the part time Recreation Assistants.

Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
