The States of Guernsey are looking for an Adult Social Worker to join the Integrated Adult Community Care Team.
The main purpose of the post will be to provide a high quality research based casework service to service users. The post holder will be based in the Integrated Adult Community Care Team. You will provide consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working within the integrated services to deliver person centred care and support. You will also provide training, consultation and supervision as delegated by the Senior Practitioner for less experienced social workers, support workers and student social workers.
You will be based within an identified team, acting in an advisory capacity to members of the multidisciplinary team on social care issues relating to adults, educating or acting as a mentor as appropriate.

Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and the postholder has demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
