**Grade: **Police Sergeant scale - 021 - 025 - £45,326 - £50,942 per annum - plus the Hampshire Allowance

The States of Guernsey are looking for a Detective Sergeant - High Tech Crime Unit (Transferee) to join the team at Law Enforecement.
The post holder will be responsible for management of the following disciplines within the High Tech Crime Unit:
Computer Investigations
Mobile Device Investigations
Network Investigations
CCTV analysis
Cyber Dependant Crime
He/she will ensure that workloads and workflows are prioritised and administered using case management system (CASEY) and scoring matrix and, that the team performs effectively to national standards.
The post holder will ensure that Guernsey Law Enforcement policies and procedures reflect the relevant priorities and will endeavour to amend these in line with changes in legislation.
The post holder will report to the Detective Inspector/ Manager – High Tech Crime Unit.

In order to satisfy residency criteria you need to have been resident in the UK or Guernsey for a period of 3 years. The calculation of the period of time refers to the period immediately before an application is made and not any other period or accumulation of time spent in the UK or Guernsey.
Convictions likely to be considered relevant to this post include crimes involving Theft, Dishonesty and Fraud.
