Grade: SO1 - £53,197 - £59,998 or SO2 - £58,207 - £65,629 per annum

Full Time - Permanent

The States of Guernsey are looking for Project Construction Managers to join their team at Education Capital Projects. One working with the Secondary School Partnership (Les Varendes, Les Beaucamps and St Sampsons High) and one working with Les Ozouets Campus (The Guernsey Institute and The Sixth Form Centre).

The successful candidate will responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the construction work and leading the delivery of the Project on-site, ensuring an integrated approach that reflects the specific deliverables and outcomes required by this Project.

The post-holder will ensure that the building proposals are of the required quality and to act as the interface between the design and construction teams, the local agencies involved in construction and the end users.

Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
