Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Trainee Client Accountant, Trust.
Overall purpose of the role:
To assist the client accounting team with the preparation of financial statements for the clients of the company, having due regard to the client’s needs, statutory requirements and the company’s high standards. To assist in maintaining the integrity of the accounting records for the clients of the company.
Key responsibilities will include;
•Client accounting, to ensure that a high level of service is provided to the clients of the company’s group in the following areas
•Preparation of draft financial statements for the clients of the company
•Review of computerised accounting records prior to the preparation of financial statements
•Review of the minute books, statutory records, trust documents and correspondence files of the clients of the company’s Trust group for which financial statements are prepared
•Where necessary, liaise with auditors to facilitate their work and requirements
The successful candidate will have:
•Strong knowledge of the preparation of financial statements for Trusts and Companies
•Strong knowledge of the computer systems used by the company’s Trust group, including iManage and NavOne;
