Business Analyst
Location: Jersey, Southampton
An opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Operations and Projects team and work with stakeholders to identify and define current and future business requirements and to document and optimise processes to create efficiencies and reduce risks. The role can be based in either of our Southampton or Jersey offices.
Principal duties include:
- Gather, interpret, and translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyse and design optimum solutions and create process flow diagrams and workflows
- Develop use cases, and map these across to testing plans
- Facilitate all user acceptance testing activity
- Liaise closely with the technical team to source further details as required during the solution development / build phases
- Identify process, technology, and architectural changes necessary to support current and future business goals and objectives
- Manage the activities of business analyst support staff fand subject matter experts provided from within the firm, as necessary
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as a business analyst or equivalent role with experience of working on Thomson Reuters 3E Platform and client on-boarding platforms. A proven understanding of Business Analyst techniques and methods is essential along with a thorough understanding of the legal sector and experience of delivering change, including regulatory and compliance change, within that sector. Candidates should also be working towards or have completed the BCS Business Analysis qualification or equivalent and hold or be working towards qualified APM practitioner status.
