| The role:<br><br>The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for developing the strategy, planning and build of the Investec brand in the UK. Reporting to the Head of Brand, the role holds responsibility across five key areas:<br><ol><li>Strategy</li>
<li>Sustainability and BID (Belonging, Inclusion & Diversity)</li>
<li>Insights and development</li>
<li>Governance and protection</li>
<li>Cross business collaboration</li></ol><br>Who are we looking for?<br><br>As an Investec Senior Brand Manager your responsibility lies in defining, shaping and driving the growth of our brand – from insight, to strategy through to execution and measurement.<br><br>To do this you will work with every corner of the business and agency partners to bring our brand to life for our colleagues, clients and customers.<br><br>Responsible for building and protecting the Investec and associated group brands. Leading the direction of brand expression; delivery of brand consultancy; defining the tools and training to enable teams; leading brand protection and implementation of brand governance across the organisation.<br><br>The role is closely aligned with the Marketing teams and will champion the development and implementation of external brand strategy, positioning and experience across Investec in the UK.<br><br><br><br>What will you be doing?<br><br>· Building strategic relationships between the UK Brand Management team, marketing and communication teams, regional teams across the UK and with colleagues in South Africa.<br><br>· Enable colleagues and agencies to bring the brand to life through flawlessly maintained and managed brand guidelines, tools and assets<br><br>· Have a clear focus on the current market, competitors and non-sector leaders to constantly drive innovation through insight and analysis.<br><br>· Inspiring colleagues and agencies through community training events and forums, championing and embedding our brand<br><br>· Delivering strategic direction to shape and define activation programmes across campaigns, partnerships, sponsorships and client experiences.<br><br>· Leading the implementation, management and reporting of brand governance and protection programmes for Investec<br><br>· Providing strategic brand consultation to colleague and agency teams.<br><br>· Working closely with the Head of Brand, oversee and embed an evolving and dynamic Brand Standard across the organisation, including ongoing management, reporting and optimisation<br><br>· Work closely with the Head of Brand and Head of Brand Activation to plan and execute brand activities to drive awareness and salience across all target B2B and B2C audiences.<br><br>· Managing the team driving brand alignment across the business, providing expertise when dealing with an influx of creative approvals and enquiries<br><br>· Direct our Brand Insights and research programme, working closely with the Insights team and third party agencies.<br><br>· As the business grows, provide consultative brand consultancy to business leaders in Europe, The Middle East and the Americas.<br><br>· Coach and assess team members to drive high performance.<br><br><br><br>What we're looking for:<br><br>· Extensive brand management experience.<br><br>· A strategic mindset with the ability to shape tactics. You can define the horizon as well as deliver day to day.<br><br>· An entrepreneurial mindset.<br><br>· A drive to maintain knowledge of branding trends, best practices and applying new thinking.<br><br>· A passion for brand building.<br><br>· Good project management skills.<br><br>· Creative and innovative thinking to drive delivery of Out of the Ordinary activities and outcomes.<br><br>· High energy, enthusiasm and agility to adapt to competing priorities, ambiguity in scope and unexpected challenges.<br><br>· Able to define and agree clear OKR's and measures of success across the business and with stakeholders; turning these into actionable plans with reportable metrics.<br><br>· Results-orientated with strong attention to detail, accuracy and acute sense of Brand Management best practice<br><br>· Experience working in large complex organisations with marketing capability across varied audiences and business units.<br><br>· Proven leadership skills and ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.<br><br><br><br>What's our culture like?<br><br>Our company culture is unique amongst our peers and other banks.
