The States of Guernsey are looking to recruit an Early Years Lecturer to join the team at the College of Further Education.

An enthusiastic and innovative lecturer is required to take an important role in the delivery of full time and part time courses in Early Years. Currently the provision uses predominantly CACHE qualifications, across levels 1 to 3 but also a small number of OCR and Btec courses. Working with the Programme Leader and the wider department team, the lecturer will plan, provide and monitor high quality teaching and assessment of students' work.

The lecturer will also provide support and guidance in preparing students for further/higher education, training or employment. The lecturer will have an outward facing approach to engaging learners in the wider community and vice versa to ensure that learners gain a vocationally relevant and enriching experience.   • Confirmation of required qualifications / registrations
  • Possession of a valid Employment Permit
