Our client is seeking to appoint an IT Support Engineer. This is a varied role and duties include attending client sites to provide IT Support. This will include setting up new users and disabling them when they leave, attending to fault calls logged through the Helpdesk and monthly housekeeping tasks. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting login problems, networks issues, phone / teams issues, assisting with Cannon WorkCentre Printers / Scanners and DYMO label issues, releasing emails from Mimecast and troubleshooting Mimecast issues, setting up company iPads with MAAS360, O365 applications, etc., troubleshooting staff WIFI connections and Bluetooth connections to TVs, setting up new desks and assisting with staff moving desks, repatching floor panels via the Network switches and trace simple faults. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting day-to-day issues with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint issues, troubleshooting day-to-day issues with iManage Document Management Systems, releasing Kitework files in a timely fashion and resolving general Kitework issues, carrying out a monthly stock control report of all equipment and advising as to extra hardware needs to be ordered, being alert for any licenses that are running low, so more can be ordered in time for new starters, maintaining meeting rooms and being on hand to help out staff with client meetings, maintaining staff Mitel telephone lists when new staff arrive/leave, and signing for deliveries to site. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing Support Team to provide remote support primarily to their client base with some onsite support required as necessary.
This role would suit someone who has already been in an office support role who is looking to move to the next level in terms of skill requirements and responsibility.
