Director of Compliance - Fiduciary - Jersey

Our client, a leading provider of fiduciary services has a new opening for a director of compliance. You will manage all aspects of risk and compliance related functions. This role will assume responsibility for key person role of Compliance Officer, MLCO and deputy MLRO. You will be educated to degree level preferably in law and hold the industry recognised ICA Diploma in Compliance or similar along with ten years' financial services experience both onshore and offshore, with a min of 5 years' experience with designing and maintaining risk, compliance or assurance programmes within the financial services industry. You will have a strong technical knowledge and expertise covering conduct of business matters, corporate governance and regulatory risk and change matters. Comprehensive experience of relevant non-Jersey jurisdictions. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organisation. We can only accept applications from candidates who are local or have lived in Jersey continuously for at least 5 years.
