Test Assurance Analyst FTC (VA154)

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous

We are seeking an experienced Test Assurance Analyst to join either our Jersey or Southampton office until at least the end of December 2023.

Role purpose

To work collaboratively with the Risk and Compliance Team to ensure that systems are thoroughly tested before being rolled out to the wider business.

Reporting structure

Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance

Principal duties

Assist the Test Manager to write detailed Functional/UAT test scripts, identifying gaps in testing where applicable.
Execute effective testing following agreed test scripts, managing test case scenarios within agreed timelines.
Ensure test cases are complete, accurate & up-to-date.
Interrogating test results, to facilitate identifying bugs or workflow issues and documenting outcomes.
Contribute to the population of defect logs, ensuring concise summaries of test outcomes are documented and include potential impacts.
