The States of Guernsey are looking to recruit a Senior Contract/Project Manager to join the team at Guernsey Ports.
The role of Senior Contract/Project Manager is to manage and deliver medium to large capital infrastructure projects across Guernsey Ports, with a construction bias. This will take account of key factors including growth and maintenance requirements; condition and performance of the assets; legal obligations; economic regulation; current and emerging best practices.
The Senior Contract/Project Manager will support Guernsey Ports to deliver a high standard of service to its customers through the delivery of infrastructure projects. The post holder will support the business in the planning, management and execution of projects outlined within our Business Plan and assist in setting future operational business strategies and objectives.
The Senior Contract/Project Manager will ensure that projects are properly developed, with infrastructure elements properly designed, specified and constructed, also engaging/procuring suitably skilled consultants/contractors to perform necessary tasks and manage their performance.
