Trainee Visual Merchandising Assistant

£25,000- £28,000 per annum
We are actively looking to recruit an energetic visual merchandising assistant to support across all of our departments at Le Friquet Garden Centre.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for helping to deliver an exceptional and unique a shopping experience. You will achieve this through the creating of inspirational and visually exciting displays. The displays will be created using commercial data which you will become familiar with and analyse weekly. You will also be able to engage openly with our customers with an energetic and can-do attitude. This role is all about offering excellent and best on Island customer inspiration and service. Your focus will always be on the customer and meeting their expectations to ensure our customers enjoy a truly unique and memorable shopping experience. Working with the visual merchandising manager and the other departmental managers and teams, you will work with flexibility within the various departments of the garden centre. You will have an openness to learn about the varying products and able to adapt to the varying departmental expectations delivering the Blue Diamond brand.
ABOUT YOU
No experience is necessary, full on the job training will be given. Being professional, friendly and having a genuine interest in retailing, and especially having an eye for detail. Our customers are our main priority so you therefore need to be someone who is passionate about customer service, polite and outgoing.
You will be able to perform under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get 'stuck in'; prioritise tasks effectively and displaying a 'can do' attitude at all times.
Ensure store standards are maintained and stock maintained to its best quality.
