This interesting supervisory role is to assist the island's financial services businesses including financial institutions, designated non-financial businesses and professions and virtual asset service providers for anti-money laundering (AML), countering of the financing of terrorism (CFT) and countering proliferation financing (CPF) purposes. And to regulate financial services for conduct and prudential purposes.
The Prudential Supervision team is a new addition to our clients services and provides an excellent opportunity to help shape and implement our client's approach to forming views on the business model sustainability, analysing prudential returns, financial accounts, and interviews with senior leadership executives, to understand prudential risks and mitigation strategies.
This role would suit an individual with an interest in business model viability and sustainability. You should have demonstrable judgement and analytical skills, be capable of understanding and articulating the prudential risks posed by a variety of business models and be able to proactively identify risks.
Experience of prudential skills, in particular experience of the technical aspects of regulation relating to business model sustainability, identification of capital and liquidity risks. Relevant experience include experience in financial and economic modelling, stress testing, working in credit and equity analyst roles, financial supervision, or an external audit role with a focus on prudential analysis.
A legal background and experience in complex regulatory matters are required. We can only accept applications from candidates who are legally able to live and work on the island of Jersey.
