Banking, Credit / Lending Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lending Specialist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves supporting clients through the lending process by evaluating financial information, preparing loan applications, and delivering exceptional service. You will be a key contact point for both new and existing clients, ensuring lending solutions are accurately tailored and professionally administered in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Job Duties:
Assess client financial circumstances to determine suitable lending options Prepare, process and monitor loan applications from initial enquiry through to completion Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and third parties throughout the lending process Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and internal requirements Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their applications Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks Assist with the review of existing lending arrangements and recommend changes where necessary Identify opportunities for cross-selling and promoting additional products or services Support business development initiatives and contribute to team targets Handle client enquiries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high level of service
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in a lending, credit, or financial services role Strong understanding of lending products, credit processes and regulatory requirements Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to assess financial documentation and make informed recommendations Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems
