Accounting Our client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Central Finance department, focusing on accounting and financial reporting. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with periodic financial reporting requirements. Click here to read more. Job Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Oversee data input by bookkeepers within the Group. Assist with the implementation of the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and document reconciliations. Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports, including Profit and Loss accounts and balance sheets. Provide support for the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting. Assist with compliance regarding regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls. Coordinate audits and compliance activities. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to provide financial expertise and support. Job Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience. Educated to A-level standard or equivalent. Experience in analytical and problem-solving. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to build morale and team spirit, acting as an ambassador for the Group’s values.
