Accounting, Trust Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join their largest Capital Markets administration team, based in Jersey. With a strong focus on debt capital markets, the team handles diverse client portfolios, from standalone note issuance SPVs to structured finance and asset-backed securities across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves managing a team of transaction and governance specialists, overseeing the incorporation, transaction setup, and ongoing administration of Jersey SPVs, and supporting the business's continued growth and client demand. Job Duties: Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring work is distributed fairly across the team to maintain high service standards. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with the team. Supervise the administration of Capital Markets structures, including: Preparation of board packs and meeting minutes. Reviewing legal documentation and financial statements. Updating statutory records, databases, and registers. Conducting client and board meetings and producing minutes and resolutions. Ensure compliance objectives, team KPIs, and key compliance metrics are met. Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, and precedent documents. Support business development by managing relationships, assisting with marketing initiatives, and preparing fee proposals. Oversee team billing and debt collection processes. Hold regular team meetings, offering guidance and development support to junior team members. Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes impacting client portfolios. Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture while driving change and participating in project work as needed.
Job Requirements: A degree in Business, Law, or Accounting is preferable. Professional qualifications such as ICSA, STEP, or ACCA, or working towards these. At least 5 years of experience managing corporate or capital markets clients within a fiduciary environment. Proven leadership and people management skills, with a focus on talent development. Strong knowledge of local legislation and corporate governance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Confident and professional communication skills for client interaction. Broad understanding of corporate services in a global context.
