Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? You will be involved in the management of an existing Investment client base and further increasing business with the generation of new clients. You will proactively represent the RBC Brewin Dolphin Investment Management function internally and RBC Brewin Dolphin externally to develop and positively influence the firm’s position within the marketplace. Proactively networking through seeking opportunities with current, new and potential clients and supporting with business development activities. You will always act with integrity and fairness, promoting a culture which embraces change and encourages trust and openness between all colleagues and clients. Acting as a role model and sharing ideas and supporting colleagues contributing to the overall success of the team. What will you do? Manage a client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships whilst increasing business with the generation of new clients. Proactively network through seeking opportunities with current, new and potential clients. Able to support business development activities. Provide portfolio solutions to meet clients’ needs and deliver ongoing monitoring and review, making changes to deliver continued suitability of investments and responsible for ensuring ongoing client suitability. Responsible for all actions consistent with the management and advice of client portfolios. Independently and confidently manage the client advice relationship to ensure engagement opportunities to develop client acquisition. Deliver clear explanations to clients on why changes to their portfolio may better suit their investment objectives. Share best practice opportunities to deliver business growth that will contribute to the success of the team / office. Understand and comply with all the relevant regulations and principles applying to the role as a Certified Person with the Regulator, as well as RBCBD policies and procedures. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Degree educated or Equivalent. CISI Level 7 Wealth Management master’s or equivalent. Proven industry experience including trade execution, client advice and knowledge of complex and higher risk advice areas. Meets FCA/JFSC qualification and Brewin Dolphin internal requirements for authorization to provide advice in complex and specialist areas.
