An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced regulatory professional to join a leading telecommunications company in the Channel Islands. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
As a regulatory professional, the successful candidate will be the primary liaison between the company and regulators, ensuring that they maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. They will work closely with the commercial, technical, and marketing teams to ensure that products and services are fully compliant with all regulatory requirements. In addition to these regulatory responsibilities, the candidate may also provide legal advisory services to the company. This could include contract review, legal research, and other legal tasks as required. They will also have oversight of the financial processes to ensure that they comply with all relevant regulations.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to have experience in strategic advising, stakeholder engagement, and legal and compliance training. They will also need to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and its regulatory environment. Experience in team management is desirable, as there may be opportunities for candidates to take on management responsibilities in the future.
