Compliance, Marketing / PR Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Market Regulation team, focusing on market surveillance, enhanced monitoring, investigations, and supervisory and enforcement recommendations related to market participants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in capital markets within a locally based organisation with international reach. Job Duties:

Support all aspects of market supervision and investigations. Assist with market monitoring, analysis, and surveillance activities, ensuring continuous improvement of related policies, procedures, and controls. Manage active cases, watchlist issuers/members, and notable events. Handle matters escalated by market operations. Provide absence cover for automated price movement exception reporting and manual review of Nova’s order book for price exceptions. Engage with trading and listing members to establish and maintain strong relationships. Assist in the development and provision of management information. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Exchange’s rules, particularly in relation to code of conduct, supervision, and enforcement. Develop knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks for market participants, including market abuse and financial crime obligations. Undertake continuous professional development to stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory matters. Support the management and delivery of board-approved trading and data services. Prepare accurate reports and data for senior management, the LMC, the Board, or the Risk Committee as required. Engage with regulators and agencies for intelligence sharing and maintain strong relationships. Assist with ad hoc projects as requested by the Board.

Job Requirements:

Relevant ICA or CISI qualification. Proven experience in a relevant industry role. Strong analytical and investigative mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to interpret and manage complex or ambiguous information. Excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage deliverables with minimal supervision. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and financial crime obligations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
