Accounting, Funds Our client is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Private Equity Accounting team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a dynamic opportunity to support a key client with an active investment portfolio across multiple fund products. The successful candidate will play an integral role in investment and fund accounting, client reporting, and relationship management, all while ensuring service excellence and adherence to client-specific requirements. Job Duties:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Investment Advisor and internal teams Support client deliverables by resolving queries and monitoring progress across multiple departments Maintain investment and portfolio records including purchases, disposals, income receipts, valuations, and restructuring transactions Perform daily cash management, valuation bookings, invoice coding, and periodic reconciliations Assist in the preparation of bespoke client reporting for senior management and investor relations teams Respond to ad-hoc investor queries and support stakeholder reporting Ensure client expectations are met by managing workflows, prioritising assignments, and escalating issues as required Review and maintain accounting trackers, monitor accounts preparation, and input updates into SharePoint-based workflows Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements within the accounting function Rotate tasks within the team and support colleagues with training and workload balance
Job Requirements:
Experience in fund accounting or fund administration within private equity, credit, or perpetual funds Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (minimum) Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly adapt to new systems; data literacy is advantageous Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong communication skills with a client service focus and concern for quality Collaborative team player with effective problem-solving skills
