Accounting, Bookkeeping Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to support the accounting requirements of a dedicated portfolio within the Trust & Corporate function. This role involves bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and transaction processing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will liaise with internal teams and external business partners to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. Job Duties:

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, transaction processing, and accounting using the company's accounting software. Maintain up-to-date accounting records, ensuring accuracy in bank statements, agreements, invoices, contracts, and resolutions. Work closely with the Administration Team to resolve account-related queries and ensure accurate bookkeeping. Reconcile ledger items with supporting documents and maintain schedules and working papers. Stay informed of relevant financial, legal, and regulatory changes affecting the business. Prepare and maintain loan interest schedules. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and backup working papers. Update the accounts monitoring system and ensure compliance with internal controls. Accurately record time in the billing system on a daily basis. Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the role and team.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within the finance industry. Knowledge of company and trust structures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to research and apply learning. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word at an intermediate level. Ability to adapt to bespoke IT, accounting systems, and banking platforms. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Commitment to delivering high standards of client service. Flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to assist the team as required.
