Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising clients on all aspects of dispute resolution and insolvency matters, ensuring alignment with internal policies.
- Representing the organisation in dealings with courts, tribunals, and other relevant bodies.
- Developing comprehensive knowledge of client businesses to tailor legal strategies effectively.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including skeleton arguments and submissions.
- Managing case loads with efficiency and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local and international laws.
- Mentoring junior lawyers, trainees, and paralegals, fostering their professional growth.
- Engaging in business intelligence activities and client billing management to support financial operations.
- Participating in the firm's marketing and knowledge management initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a robust legal background with 5-10 years of PQE and strong expertise in dispute resolution and insolvency. They must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex cases effectively. Familiarity with commercial litigation, a strong academic record, and competency in IT and legal software are essential.
