Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting Financial Planners with meeting preparation and administrative tasks.
- Attending client meetings alongside Financial Planners to gain exposure to the advice process.
- Assisting in drafting advice reports and documentation.
- Providing occasional cover for the administration team as required.
- Contributing to marketing efforts, including updating the website and social media.
- Assisting in the delivery of business development initiatives in collaboration with senior team members.
- Undertaking a structured training programme towards the Diploma in Financial Planning as part of a four-year pathway to Chartered Financial Planner status.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, along with A Levels (or equivalent). A degree is preferred but not essential. An interest in personal financial planning and a desire to develop a long-term career in the sector are key. Candidates must be personable, empathetic, and have strong communication and organisational skills. Prior financial services experience is not required but would be beneficial.
