Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and reviewing complex fund accounts under multiple GAAPs including UK, US, and Lux.
- Managing a portfolio of private equity structures and assisting with investment and portfolio data.
- Liaising with clients and investment advisers to resolve technical queries.
- Reviewing junior team members' work and supporting their development.
- Processing investor calls, distributions, and payment workflows.
- Overseeing company secretarial tasks, investor transfers, and record maintenance.
- Producing and reviewing AIFMD, Solvency II, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory and tax reports.
- Managing communication across internal teams, investors, and tax professionals.
- Supporting ad hoc queries and delivering tailored client reporting.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), though part-qualified candidates with strong relevant experience will also be considered. A solid understanding of private equity fund structures, investment transactions, and relevant GAAPs is essential. Excellent communication skills, the ability to self-manage under pressure, and a professional, detail-oriented approach are key to success. Prior exposure to debt instruments and investor tax reporting would be an advantage.
