Compliance, Trainee / Graduate Our client is seeking a Trainee Compliance Administrator to join their Guernsey office on a full-time basis. This role will support the Compliance team in maintaining and developing the Compliance and Countering Financial Crime (CFC) frameworks. You will be involved in compliance monitoring, reporting, and the upkeep of internal records, contributing to the effective delivery of regulatory and compliance support across the business. Job Duties:

Support the development of a strong compliance culture within the organisation Assist in maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Programme and report any deficiencies identified Update and manage compliance registers, including risk, breaches, complaints, PII notifications, errors, PEPs, and introduced business Review customer due diligence (CDD) documentation and new business packs, and handle ad hoc CDD queries Collate and present information for internal management reporting Investigate and report on adverse media or screening results using online and internal screening tools Support the preparation and submission of regulatory returns and information requests from third parties, including service providers and regulatory bodies Help ensure compliance policies, procedures and controls are current, effective and aligned with regulatory standards Review and close off daily screening alerts Escalate compliance concerns or risks to the Compliance Manager and assist in the development and implementation of solutions Contribute to staff compliance training as required Carry out any additional compliance-related tasks as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

A strong interest in compliance, risk and regulatory matters Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work methodically and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Effective written and verbal communication skills A collaborative approach and willingness to learn Prior experience in financial services or compliance support is desirable but not essential Familiarity with CDD processes and regulatory registers is advantageous
