House Keeper - Government House
Due to a retirement, the position of Housekeeper will become vacant in July
About the role
The Housekeepers work closely with the Butler and Deputy Butler to maintain the household on a day-to-day basis and when entertaining visitors. The role is primarily cleaning and laundry duties with additional tasks, including drinks and table service, as requested. This is a permanent, pensionable position, based on 30 hours per week, including some evening and weekend work and with capacity for overtime.
About you
You enjoy cleaning and have high professional standards with an eye for detail. You are happy working in a small team and are flexible in your approach to work, undertaking all aspects of housework and service as required.
Your spoken English must be of a good standard.
