Insurance, Trainee / Graduate Our client is offering a fantastic permanent full-time opportunity to train as a Claims Assessor through the CII qualification programme. The training is fully supported, with the Certificate taking approximately 12 months to complete, followed by the Diploma which may take up to 18 months. You will be part of a cohort of trainee claims assessors, with supportive colleagues based in other jurisdictions and a dedicated Claims Manager based in Guernsey. This role is ideally suited to someone who is organised, eager to learn, and enjoys engaging with clients and brokers. Job Duties:
Engage with clients and brokers via phone and email, ensuring clear and professional communication Process claims accurately and in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records and documentation for each claim assessed Follow the established claims process, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met Liaise with colleagues in the Underwriting department to support claims assessment as needed Learn and apply relevant insurance knowledge as gained through the CII qualification programme Support colleagues and participate in a collaborative training environment Maintain a high level of organisation to manage a varied and dynamic workload
Job Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to articulate information clearly and professionally via email and phone Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently A willingness to learn and progress through professional training Collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently when required Commitment to completing the CII qualification programme within the expected timeframe
