Co-Sec, Trust Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their growing governance and compliance team on a permanent, full-time basis. With operations in Guernsey, Jersey and Ireland, the organisation provides bespoke services to a broad client base across both regulated and unregulated sectors. This is a client-facing role that involves managing a portfolio of clients, leading onboarding projects, overseeing team output, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and best practice corporate governance standards. Job Duties:

Manage a diverse client portfolio and build strong, trusted relationships Attend board and general meetings, prepare or review related documentation, and complete post-meeting actions Advise client boards in line with knowledge and experience Oversee bespoke client projects on both an ad-hoc and ongoing basis Develop and maintain governance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements Review and/or prepare Guernsey incorporations and ensure statutory filings and payments are completed Review and/or prepare work relating to registered office and resident agent duties Lead client onboarding to ensure alignment with internal processes Manage team calendars and track outstanding client-related tasks Ensure timely compliance with all statutory filings Liaise with clients, service providers, and internal teams efficiently and professionally Support and mentor junior team members Identify and resolve challenges affecting service delivery Attend local and off-island business development events Remain up to date with constitutional, regulatory, and listing obligations relevant to clients Perform general administrative tasks as required

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, ideally in company secretarial, fund administration, or trust administration Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior team members Sound knowledge of statutory requirements and corporate governance frameworks Experience in client onboarding and due diligence processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to draft accurate and concise meeting minutes Organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to adopt new digital tools Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently Commitment to continuous improvement and mentoring others Relevant professional qualification (e.g. TEP, CGI, MSc) or studying towards one
