An exciting opportunity to join our clients' well-established, family-run retail business. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of the showroom, supporting sales activity, customer interaction, and store presentation in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week from 8:45am - 17:30pm across five days, including Saturdays.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Ensuring the showroom is clean, organised, and products are correctly assembled and attractively displayed.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Managing transactions including processing orders, handling payments, and updating records.
- Coordinating deliveries and assisting with scheduling logistics.
- Providing social media support and participating in promotional activity.
- Undertaking stock control, including receiving deliveries and conducting inventory checks.
- Assisting with manual handling tasks, such as lifting and assembling furniture, and supporting off-site service visits as required.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service or retail, with knowledge of furniture or interior products being an advantage. They will possess strong communication and organisational skills, enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to supporting business operations.
