Our construction client is seeking to appoint a Site Manager.

As a Construction Site Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site safety and compliance, and serve as the key point of contact for progress.

You will oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures, maintain project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders, conduct site inductions and toolbox talks, monitor quality control and manage site documentation, and solve on-site issues proactively and efficiently.

You will need experience in commercial or office fit-outs (preferred but not essential), a strong understanding of construction processes and site safety, previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role on-site, the ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with site paperwork and reporting

We also welcome applicants who may not have direct site manager experience but have a background in construction or trade with leadership responsibilities, experience managing teams in other sectors and a strong interest in construction, with a desire to grow into a managerial role, training and mentorship will be provided.
