Accounting Our client is seeking a fully qualified and experienced accountant to join their global accounting team as a Senior Manager. This permanent role can be based in Guernsey, Jersey or the UK and will involve managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, and leading a team of professionals. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, accurate and timely reporting while developing strong working relationships with clients and third-party providers. Job Duties:
Manage day-to-day activities of reporting staff, allocating work to meet client deadlines Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including complex accounting entries Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and semi-annual financial reports Maintain accurate accounting records in client databases such as Viewpoint, Yardi and QuickBooks Ensure a detailed understanding of all transactions and escalate as required Manage client expectations and ensure accounting deadlines are met Oversee the audit process for selected clients, ensuring deadlines are adhered to Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, auditors and third-party providers Collaborate with client administration teams and other global colleagues to provide accounting support Ensure consistent service levels across all clients and resolve issues swiftly Adhere to internal policies and procedures at all times Demonstrate awareness of cross-jurisdictional integration and support a unified approach across the organisation
Job Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, with practical experience Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable Experience using accounting systems such as Viewpoint, Yardi and QuickBooks is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks independently Proficient in Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong data entry skills
