Compliance, Executive Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager for a permanent, full-time role based in Guernsey, working 36.25 hours per week with a hybrid work option. This position offers a key opportunity to play a significant leadership role in ensuring the business complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures. You will contribute to the effective operation of compliance frameworks and support high-level internal and external projects, while also potentially acting as MLCO or DMLRO. Job Duties:

Take the lead on the Compliance Monitoring Programme Develop business risk assessments and related risk management tools Oversee completion of annual regulatory returns Act as Deputy MLRO and support investigation and reporting of suspicious activity Support regulatory inspections and thematic reviews Contribute to the development of compliance-related policies and procedures Act as a point of escalation for compliance queries Maintain and manage internal registers Keep abreast of local regulatory requirements and ensure best practice is followed Identify improvements in compliance procedures and escalate concerns where necessary Ensure adherence to internal procedures and Guernsey AML/CFT regulations

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in a compliance role at manager or senior manager level Experience in a regulated finance or professional services environment Prior experience in prescribed roles such as MLCO is preferred Strong organisational skills and supervisory experience Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and business operations Qualified by experience or through a legal/advisory background Strong IT skills
