Trust Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator to join their Guernsey-based fiduciary business on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trust and company clients. You will be responsible for maintaining high professional standards while also mentoring more junior administrators and ensuring regulatory compliance across client activities. Job Duties:

Administer a portfolio of clients, keeping the Client Group Manager informed of all developments Prepare statutory records, payments, written correspondence, and compliance documentation Complete bookkeeping for administrative transactions and assist with periodic client reviews Manage the filing of client records and handle billing responsibilities Liaise with clients and third parties, both in writing and by telephone Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance and record-keeping processes Demonstrate confidence when handling client calls and external communication Apply sound knowledge of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping techniques Organise personal workload and assist in scheduling the work of junior team members Recognise and respond to issues or problems promptly and professionally Maintain current knowledge of trust and company administration practices and AML regulations Understand and explain the purpose and practical application of trust and company structures, including complex arrangements Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professional conduct Mentor and guide trainee administrators and administrators, delegating tasks appropriately Support the effective operation of the team and contribute to ongoing improvements Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time

Job Requirements:

Qualified, part-qualified or willing to study towards STEP, ICSA, ACCA, or ACA Proven experience in trust or company administration or trust accounting Strong time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication Enjoyment of working in a busy, collaborative team environment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Comfortable working with comprehensive IT systems, including electronic filing and databases
