Funds, Trainee / Graduate Our client is seeking a Trainee Fund Accountant to join their fund accounting team. This full-time role involves bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting for a portfolio of venture capital funds. You will assist in preparing accurate client deliverables within agreed deadlines while working towards a professional qualification. Job Duties:
Complete relevant training to gain an understanding of different clients and fund structures. Undertake bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting for a tailored portfolio of venture capital funds. Support Fund Accountants and Senior Fund Accountants with more complex portfolios when necessary. Assist in producing quarterly management accounts and annual audited accounts in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102. Respond to audit requests in a timely manner. Provide relevant information to tax advisors for tax reporting preparation. Respond to client queries and monitor client mailboxes to ensure timely responses. Work closely with the fund administration team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and transaction recording. Attend professional qualification courses and undertake exams to complete a relevant qualification.
Job Requirements:
A self-starter with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Strong computer literacy and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of the financial services industry.
