This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated individual to join a specialist team that supports Guernsey's venture capital fund structures. This role is ideal for someone keen to begin or continue a career in fund accounting, with full training provided and a supportive team environment.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking bookkeeping, reporting and fund accounting for a portfolio of venture capital structures.
  • Assisting in the production of quarterly management and annual audited accounts in line with IFRS/FRS102.
  • Responding to audit and tax advisor queries.
  • Monitoring client mailboxes and responding to fund accounting queries.
  • Supporting close collaboration with the fund administration team to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Attending relevant training and studying toward professional qualifications.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be someone with a keen interest in financial services and a proactive attitude to learning. Strong communication, time management and IT skills are essential. Previous experience in a finance or admin role is helpful but not required.
