Our international banking client are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller, to work in their Trust Department.

Your responsibilities will include group Trust Accounting and Reporting, to ensure that a high level of service is provided to the management team, plan and prioritising the preparation of financial reports to ensure that all deadlines are met, managing the billing process, assisting in the control debtor, maintaining accounting records, and preparation of financial reports.

Your qualifications and skills need to include strong knowledge of computerised systems, strong knowledge of the preparation of financial reports and statements, good communication, organisational and presentation skills, knowledge of the regulatory environment in Guernsey, an understanding of accruals and prepayment concepts, and ledger skills are key for understanding credits and debits.
