Insurance Our client is seeking a Senior Client Insurance Manager for a permanent, full-time role based in Guernsey. Reporting to a Team Leader, this position involves managing all insurance and reinsurance matters for a dedicated portfolio of clients, including policy administration, board reporting, underwriting, and regulatory compliance. You will also support junior colleagues and ensure the smooth delivery of client insurance services. Job Duties:

Oversee all client insurance and reinsurance administrative matters, liaising with the wider insurance team Prepare and review board packs, present the insurance section at board meetings, and review minutes and actions arising Establish underwriting and reinsurance programmes, ensuring appropriate matching of policies Prepare and review policy wordings, renewal reports, and reinsurer presentation packs Review and settle claims and bordereaux, and manage reinsurance recoveries with reinsurers Liaise with external parties including the GFSC, legal advisors, and auditors as required Prepare insurance accounts, underwriting statistics, triangulations, and periodic reports Verify all formal reinsurance documents and ensure accuracy against inwards policy documents Ensure timely processing of new policies, renewals, and cancellations Handle new client enquiries as allocated Monitor solvency and capital adequacy, taking necessary actions to protect client interests Mentor junior team members and review work prepared by Client Insurance Assistants Ensure full adherence to internal policies and procedures Attend and participate in internal meetings and initiatives Complete timesheets accurately and within deadlines Contribute to a positive and professional working environment

Job Requirements:

CII qualified or equivalent professional qualification Proven experience in insurance or reinsurance administration Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain high-quality work in a dynamic environment High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications A strong commitment to empathy, engagement, excellence, and expertise
