Part Time Contract Temporary
Part-time, Project Management Our client is seeking a temporary User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Assistant to support the rollout of a new mobile network infrastructure. This part-time role is for 20 hours per week initially, with the potential to increase to 30–35 hours per week from early to mid-September, continuing through to the end of October. You will support the coordination and execution of testing processes and gain insight into how a mobile network functions in a client–vendor environment. Job Duties:
Attend daily and weekly project meetings Prepare and organise all required equipment for each test cycle Manage and track phones and devices, ensuring they are labelled, charged and accounted for Oversee SIM card preparation and labelling, service provisioning and proper storage Liaise with project, provisioning and testing teams as needed Maintain order and cleanliness in the test area Assist with tracking defect tickets using Jira (depending on experience) Support in collating and documenting test results Execute high-volume testing on mobile and fixed-line services and log results accurately
Job Requirements:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel Confident using IT systems and tools Able to start early in the morning (before 8am) to prepare for daily testing activities Interest in mobile technology and willingness to support change initiatives Previous experience working in a testing or technical environment is desirable but not essential
