HR / Training, Payroll Our client is seeking two motivated HR & Payroll Assistants to join their dynamic team in Guernsey. This role is crucial in supporting the efficient employment of crew members, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating accurate payroll processing. The successful candidates will assist with various HR activities, including issuing employment agreements and managing payroll queries. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects and contribute to a vibrant work environment. Job Duties:

Support the team by providing effective services to employ crew members in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Process monthly crew payrolls, verifying data, inputting wage information, and reconciling payroll accounts. Monitor cash balances and follow up to ensure sufficient funds for crew payments by submitting monthly invoices to yacht owners. Produce and process all crew employment documentation within agreed timelines and monitor the return of completed forms. Serve as the first point of contact for crew members, owners, and captains concerning employment inquiries, escalating as necessary. Liaise with relevant authorities such as flag administrations and social security entities as required. Handle office maintenance and supply ordering, including equipment and general office needs. Coordinate regional projects related to software implementation, office setup, and vendor management. Assist in planning social and corporate social responsibility events, such as team-building activities. Ensure timely response to correspondence via telephone, email, and written communication. Stay updated with changes to seafarer employment legislation and report any non-compliance as required. Maintain accurate and confidential records, contributing to procedural improvements.

Job Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders. Proficiency in business IT systems and cloud-based applications. Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit. Excellent time management abilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Eligibility to live and work in Guernsey. A good sense of humour to foster a positive team culture.
