Compliance, New Business Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Onboarding Administrator to join their dynamic team. This permanent position plays a crucial role in establishing and nurturing client relationships from the very first interaction. As a pivotal figure in the onboarding team, the successful candidate will ensure a seamless process for new clients, overseeing all aspects from documentation to compliance, and establishing trusts and companies while adhering to industry regulations. Job Duties:

Review documentation received from potential clients and compile query sheets while liaising directly with clients and introducers. Finalise onboarding procedures in alignment with established checklists. Communicate with role-players including introducers, ensuring that all documentation and responses are satisfactory and compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies. Conduct online compliance checks. Complete risk profiles, risk reviews, checklists, and minutes for new business onboarding and committee meetings. Set up trusts and prepare related documentation. Incorporate new companies and prepare relevant documents. Prepare bank applications in accordance with onboarding requirements. Utilise and update the Group’s in-house database, maintaining share and other registers. Collaborate with other financial services providers to facilitate asset transfers or the pour-over of assets from previous structures. Prepare invoices for the formation and annual fees.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Administrator within financial services, specifically related to the onboarding of new business. No formal qualification is necessary; however, pursuing or possessing relevant qualifications is advantageous. Strong working knowledge of the GFSC Handbook, AML/CFT/CPWMD legislation, and Guernsey Trust & Company Law. Proficiency in MS Office packages, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines. Capable of collaborating within a team while also being able to work independently. Confidence in liaising with both internal and external contacts.
