Accounting, Audit Our client is seeking an Audit Senior to join their Audit team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Audit Manager, this role involves planning and managing audit assignments, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget. You will play a key role in maintaining audit quality, delivering excellent client service, and contributing to organisational success. Job Duties:
Perform pre-audit scoping and preparation, identifying audit risks and evaluating internal controls Design audit tests using the firm’s methodology, raising key matters identified during fieldwork Complete audit files to a high standard, complying with professional and ethical standards Prepare or review financial statements and other management reports as required Build and maintain strong client relationships and stay informed of changes in client affairs Supervise junior team members on-site, providing coaching and feedback to support development Conduct post-assignment performance evaluations and recommend appropriate training Monitor work-in-progress and contribute positively to departmental billing Promote the firm’s services and values, acting as an ambassador and identifying opportunities for growth
Job Requirements:
Professionally qualified accountant with at least 3 years of audit experience Strong technical understanding of current audit and accounting regulations Experienced in auditing a wide range of entities, including those within financial services Proficient in audit techniques including planning, interviewing, documentation, testing, and reporting Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate junior staff Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
