Compliance Our client is seeking an experienced CDD / File Reviewer for a permanent position located in Jersey. This significant role involves conducting rigorous periodic reviews and client due diligence processes to ensure the integrity of the client base. The successful candidate will play a critical part in reassessing existing clients, supporting the onboarding of new clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will also be responsible for updating databases and liaising with employees across various levels within the organisation. Job Duties:

Conduct periodic reviews of existing client files to confirm data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Review and validate KYC documentation, including beneficial ownership, sources of funds, and risk classification. Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients and escalate findings as necessary. Maintain and update client profiles on Diligent Entities (DE) (Blueprint) in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory timelines. Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of client data in internal systems. Assist in closing action points resulting from reviews. Monitor and report on review completion rates, outstanding actions, and risk trends. Liaise with management and other stakeholders to gather missing information or clarify discrepancies. Assist in preparing reports for internal audit, compliance, and regulatory bodies. Support additional tasks as required, including reviews of third-party suppliers.

Job Requirements:

Extensive business administration experience, ideally within financial services. Proven experience in client file reviews and CDD reviews in a financial services environment, gained from corporate and/or fund administration. Advanced Certificate in AML or willingness to study towards this qualification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to specific, sometimes competing deadlines. Strong knowledge of Jersey’s AML/CFT requirements. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Enthusiastic, with a passion for learning. Self-starter with a proactive mindset, demonstrating excellent initiative. Great attention to detail with advanced analytical skills. Problem-solver who is solution-oriented.
