Accounting Our client is seeking a diligent Finance Administrator to join their dynamic Finance team in Guernsey. This role is pivotal in providing essential support primarily to the Property team, ensuring the smooth management of client accounts and property transactions. Reporting to the Group Treasury Manager, the Finance Administrator will work full-time (35 hours per week, 09:00 am to 5:30 pm) while benefitting from a collaborative and supportive working environment. Job Duties:

Monitor client accounts for incoming funds. Ensure client account records on Elite are up to date with all transactions. Action client account payment requests from fee earners and secretaries. Regularly review client account balances at matter level. Reconcile client accounts at month end. Liaise with RBSI regarding payment information requests for large transactions. Place funds on deposit where requested. Maintain accrued interest on matters with funds held in deposit accounts. Collaborate with the Credit Control team to apply held funds against outstanding invoices. Process all conveyancing transactions alongside the Property team, including payments for Document Duty, registration fees, mortgage redemptions, sale proceeds, and ad-hoc payments. Handle weekly billing for completed matters and payment of invoices from client account funds. Make payments to beneficiaries of estate matters. Assist with balancing estate accounts as required.

Job Requirements:

Previous experience with client account administration and property transactions is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with a high degree of competence. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. Strong planning and organisational skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Solid problem-solving skills. Multitasking skills are essential.
