Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to take on the prescribed function of MLRO. This is a pivotal role in shaping and enforcing financial crime strategy, providing oversight on AML frameworks, and supporting compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the key point of contact for suspicious activity reports and liaison with authorities.
- Designing, maintaining, and overseeing financial crime frameworks.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and advising senior stakeholders.
- Delivering board-level reporting and MI on financial crime risks.
- Collaborating with compliance and operations teams to manage exposure.
- Leading financial crime training and supporting the 1st line of defence.
- Managing trigger event reviews and sanction screenings.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have prior regulatory approval as an MLRO and hold relevant qualifications in Compliance or Financial Crime. Strong technical knowledge of international AML regulations and previous second-line experience is essential. This role suits a commercial thinker with strong stakeholder management skills and experience in financial services, ideally with cross-jurisdictional exposure.
