Night Care Assistant

| The Position<br><br>We are looking for a full time Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerland House Nursing Home.<br><br>The hours are 36, which is 3 nights per week.<br><br>The right person will carry out a range of duties to ensure high quality care is provided to our Residents.<br><br><br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Carry out a range of duties in order to provide high quality care to residents in our Nursing Home.<br><br>Assist residents with activities of daily life, such as washing, dressing, eating and mobility<br><br>Act as an advocate to residents in your care and always act in their best interests<br><br><br><br>Experience<br><br>Previous work in a Care or Nursing environment is desirable and preferable, but we will accept applications from those with no experience.<br><br><br><br>Skills & Qualifications<br><br>A mature outlook, with work/life experience<br><br>Ability to work as a Team, but also able to undertake tasks on your own<br><br>Excellent communication skills<br><br>Ability to maintain accurate records<br><br>Willingness to learn and to undertake mandatory in-house training<br><br><br><br>Benefits<br><br>We offer a competitive pay & conditions package<br><br>Enhanced rates for weekend shifts and Bank Holidays<br><br>4 weeks holiday (pro-rated)<br><br><br><br>Incentives<br><br>Staff are encouraged to further their skills with internal training and external qualifications should they wish to.<br><br><br><br>To apply please contact Lisa Vahey |
