Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Underwriting Manager in delivering underwriting and administrative services.
- Handling client correspondence and liaising with medical professionals as part of the underwriting process.
- Completing daily reporting and monitoring scheme activity to ensure timely responses.
- Administering group risk schemes accurately and in line with agreed standards.
- Contributing to customer retention by providing efficient and professional service.
- Supporting any additional administrative requirements within the department.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. A background in insurance, financial services or medical administration would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and be proactive in managing tasks to meet service expectations.
